We recently shared a little bit about Pageaux, our Community Coordinator who works directly with our volunteers. Now that you know more about him, he’s back to showcase the volunteer team and everything they do! Read on to learn more about these players, each of whom have an important role on our site.

“Most players in our community, whether they realize it or not, have been affected in some way by a passionate group of player volunteers. They help us by answering questions, assisting with moderation, writing poker articles, and translating Replay Poker into eight different languages! While many players will likely interact with these volunteers, most won’t realize the incredible amount of work they do. Below is a list of our different volunteer positions and a little bit about what each group does to help make our site the best place to play recreational poker online!

Player Reps:

Our Player Reps are our largest volunteer group, with people from 10 different time zones around the world. They’re eager to share their knowledge and enthusiasm about the site and poker with the community. If you’re new to the site, have a question, or just want to talk poker, you can find them here: https://www.replaypoker.com/player_reps

Moderators:

We believe that a kind, welcoming community is essential for players to enjoy themselves. Volunteer Moderators help us by giving other players someone to come to when they’re having issues. They can mediate issues and temporarily mute players that violate our Code of Conduct. All disciplinary actions they take are then reviewed by a staff member. They are also the only players on the site that you can send a message to even if you’re not already friends. This way, someone is always available to help! If you’d like to see our list of Moderators, you can find them here: https://www.replaypoker.com/moderators

Forum Moderators:

The Replay Community Forums are one of the best places to get to know players from all over the world. They’re filled with people sharing their experiences both on and off the table. Our Forum Moderators have the huge task of keeping the threads on topic, easy to find, and moderated as necessary. You can say hi and check out the forums by following this link: http://forums.replaypoker.com/

Translators:

Our translators come to us from many different countries. They do the hard work of translating nearly the entire site into eight different languages. It’s because of these players volunteering their time and knowledge that we’re able to offer the site not just in English, but also in German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian, and Chinese!

Facebook Friends and Blog Buddies:

If you’re reading this post, you may already be familiar with our last set of volunteers. This is a group of talented writers who share their experience and tips on our blog and Facebook page.

To show our appreciation for all of their hard work, volunteers receive a small monthly chip bonus and are invited to join a private league that plays once a month with the staff! You may also see them playing in our largest tournament each month, Bust the Staff, where they have their own bounty of 10k chips for anyone who can knock them out. If you’re a regular player on the site and are interested in joining this amazing group of volunteers, please check out the requirements here and then apply by sending an email to [email protected].”
