Replay Winter Games 2021: Week One Recap

The first week of the Replay Winter Games 2021 is complete, and it was a fantastic start to the festivities!

Every year in the Replay Winter Games, we see a dominating performance from Team USA. Without fail, they top the charts every week, and run away with the leaderboard for medal winners.

This year is no exception, as we look at the Country Medal Leaderboard we can see that once again, Team USA is dominating … Stop the presses! We are getting news that Latvia has overtaken the USA and sits in first place. This is a remarkable achievement!

Our medal tables are ordered by how many gold medals have been won. Latvia has won three gold medals from seven events! How many of you had predicted a tsunami of Latvian gold medals in our forum prediction contest?

Here’s who rounded out the top five! It’s Team USA in second, Germany in third, Slovenia in fourth, and Canada in fifth.

New for this year, is the Individual Medal Table, where we track the performance of each player instead of the country.   This leaderboard is particularly special, as it rewards some swag prizes to the top three finishers. First place at the end of the Replay Winter Games will win a hoodie, second place will win a t-shirt, and third place will win a hat.

After one week of competition, sitting atop the leaderboard is guguce, who hails from Latvia, and is solely responsible for their country sitting in first place in the country leaderboard with an astonishing three event wins from a possible seven.

In second place is last year’s heroic performer Goatsoup, who represents Team USA and has earned one gold and two silver medals so far. 

Rounding out the top three is NovaAce, who also represents Team USA and has one gold and two tin medals.

This week’s Replay Winter Games events are action-packed and not to be missed! There are plenty of chances to get on the leaderboards and win yourself and your country medals, glory, and fame.
