Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, what a spectacle The Replay Winter Games 2022 has been!

A full month of intense poker competition with friendly rivalries and new friendships forged over the ice rink, gold medals won on the slopes, and dominating performances on the curling sheet. This year’s contests were as hard fought as we have ever seen! With over 5,500 unique players in some events, it takes something special to take home any medal, let alone a gold one.

Let’s take a look at the events and how they broke down in the final two weeks of The Replay Winter Games:

As we saw in the first two weeks, there is one special individual who has dominated the medal table for the third and fourth weeks: Goatsoup, who managed to double their gold medal total to 12 over the course of the final 14 events. Goatsoup’s performance in The Replay Winter Games was astonishing, with a gold medal in 42% of their events and a medal won in 100% of events (28/28). This is the greatest performance by any individual in the history of The Replay Winter Game. America should declare a public holiday in their honor based on this performance!

Second place in the Individual Medal Table goes to TiggyTime from the Czech Republic, who picked up 2 gold medals and won a medal in 26/28 events, for an 89% strike rate!

Third place goes to 505UPUNXL who hails from the USA and picked up two gold medals, but one less silver than TiggyTime. 505UPUNXL managed to win a medal in 17/28 events, for a strike rate of 60%.

These players not only win the adulation of the community, but they also win a swag prize. 1st place will pick up a hoodie, 2nd place has won a t-shirt and 3rd place has won a Replay Poker hat. Congratulations to the winners!

The other medal table that was hosted was the Country Medal Table, which was the basis of the Guess The Top 5 contest on our forum.

This year saw another dominating performance from Team USA, who took home 20 Golds, 11 Silver, and 11 Bronze Medals. Team USA won 20/28 events, for a 71% win rate, which is astronomical! Well done Team USA.

Second place in the Team Medal Table goes to Germany, who won 4 Golds, 5 Silvers, and 3 Bronze Medals and represented Europe very well. You should all be proud!

Third place was taken by The Czech Republic, who earned 2 Golds, 2 Silvers, and 5 Bronze medals. A fantastic performance overall and worthy of third place. Congratulations!

That wraps up another Replay Winter Games. A final congratulations to all the winners! We truly hope that you enjoyed this year’s version and we will be sending around a survey to hear your thoughts on what you liked/disliked and what could be improved.

As the closing ceremony ends and the music starts to fade, the athletes are returning home, ready to start preparing for not only next year’s events, but also the upcoming Replay Team Championship. The RTC will be held in the second quarter of this year, so start to plan your team of three players and prepare for more action.

Thank you for playing at Replay Poker and for playing the Replay Winter Games!
