The illegal rabbit punch was used in wrestling in the 50's and 60's, same as a folding chair over the head in todays wrestling. As a kid, on our only channel on TV, I watched the action on "Big Time Wrestling". 401Lb. Gorilla Monsoon (pictured) was my favorite. If you do historic research, Gorilla never went over 300lbs, but hey, that's wrestling!
