Replay Poker’s volunteer team consists of friendly, dedicated players, all of whom are eager to help you out while you play! Some of these volunteers include moderators, forum writers, and player representatives.

Our Player Reps offer a welcoming presence at our tables. They’re available to answer your questions, or just have a nice chat over some cards! Today, we’re introducing one of our newer members on this team: redignify!

1) Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What are your interests?
I live on the east coast in Florida. I am enrolled in college for cyber security. I enjoy playing poker, snowboarding, gaming, and coding.

2) How did you get interested in poker? How skilled do you feel you are now?
I learned cards by playing blackjack. Then, I tried Hold’em as an adult. Hold’em was hard to learn, so my friend recommended Omaha Hi/Lo and it seemed interesting with more variations since you have four cards. I tried 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo and it’s fun but risky! I haven’t really gone back to Royal after trying it in the beginning. My main game is Omaha Hi/Lo. I feel very skilled as I know all the hand rankings and Lo combinations, which was tricky in the beginning, and which cards to play.

3) How did you find Replay Poker? What made you decide to become a volunteer?
I found Replay Poker from my friend in Pakistan I met on Discord on a Call of Duty zombies game. He showed me a Hold’em table with his friends and I liked the platform! I decided to become a volunteer because I wanted to help in any way. In my original message, I said, “Please let me know if there is anything I can do!”

4) Anything else that you’d like to share with players? Any advice, on or off the tables?
I think taking a break when you’re having a rough go at things is better than playing through it knowing eventually you should hit a hand. More often than not I’ll end up winning or splitting a few in a row with good play and raises. Advice off the tables — hard work always prevails!
