I was a Hospital Corpsman with 1st Force Recon Company RVN 1970. After the military I eventually went back to school and became an RN.

Marines have been called Devil Dogs since the Battle of Belleau Wood in WWI. Navy Hospital Corpsmen attached to Marine units are know as Devil Docs.
