31 July 2022 update: I won the Saturday Fever tournament today - 19.5m chip prize, my best yet.

Had a bit of luck along the way which made up for some mistakes I made.

So I am still learning the craft, but that win has helped my bank significantly!!! :)

January 2022 Update: Well 18 months into my poker ‘career’ (lol) and it has been a steep learning curve. I have had some fabulous periods where I have strung together some excellent tournament wins and other times where nothing seems to go my way. Fortunately, the latter have generally been short lived. I have made a lot of mistakes along the way but on the whole, I think I have achieved my goal of becoming a consistent, solid player. I am just happy to keep on enjoying the game and hopefully I will continue to creep up the ratings. There are some truly great players out there and I relish playing on their tables and continuing to learn.

I am a novice having just learnt the rules of the game when joining Replay Poker in July 2020. Each week I try to improve my skills and hopefully in time I can establish myself as a consistent, solid player. For the most part, I have found really good people on this site except there are a few very nasty keyboard bullies that can’t control themselves when on the wrong end of a bad beat, which is unfortunate. As I have learnt very quickly, bad beats happen to all of us, even novices, but hopefully I never lower myself to the point where those events cause me to attempt to demean or belittle other human beings. I started playing in multi table tournaments in late August 2020. One of my early goals was to win 10 MTTs and earn my Poker Star achievement which I did in November 2020. In December 2020 I won my first 1m chip entry MTT.
