I grew up in Wellington NZ, did most of my high schooling in Auckland, then started my 1st business when I was 22. Since then have started other business, but my real pleasure was Furniture designing and Furniture components for the Upholstery sector. When I was in my 40's became rather wealthy, but Had worked hard for it. When I was 52, things changed, bad customers leaving the country without paying their debts, and customer just disappearing on me, left me with huge debt, after having to lay off all my staff, I worked 24/7 literally and would sleep for 3-4 hrs on a Sunday. After 18 months, I had a TIA followed by a Heart Attack.....then 3 more, the fourth saw me loose everything I had ever worked for including my wife of 34 yrs, she had become money hungry, I left her. Took me 6 yrs to return to normal and had no income at all, but was looked after by an awesome women who I met just before I left my wife...she wasn't the reason I left though. She took care of me and in 2012 we got married, I now have nothing money wise, but have never been so happy before, just to have a lady who loves you to pieces is the best feeling. I've started another business at 65, I work from home and now starting to do really well again, I now look after her.
You never know what tomorrow will bring, enjoy every day, they are precious and you have no idea when that final day will come. Be kind to every person you meet and help others where you can.
